Patelnagar unit (Delhi zone) organized an "Islamic quiz competition" on 26th Jan 2013 in Ranjit Nagar colony.
Inaugurating the event Waheed-uz-zama introduced SIO with emphasis on its role in redefining the philosophy of knowledge and education. Dr. T.U Siddique in his addressing said "children should be nurtured well , mentored and oriented towards Islamic culture". There were 225 participants.

Shields and medals were awarded to top
15 high scorers. Each participant was given a book on Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH). The event was successful and won accolade. The crux of
organizing this program was to initiate a children circle in the colony.
Maksood Alam, the director of Excellence
Academy, announced free computer education to students on this event
which was welcomed by SIO.
