“Even an ordinary man can change the society”: National President at Delhi


“Even an ordinary man can change the society” said Mohd. Azharuddin, national President SIO – India. He was addressing the cadres of SIO Delhi zone at the Scholars school in New Delhi.

The National President was on a two day tour of Delhi zone. The tour included several programmes, prominent among them were the meeting of SIO zonal and central team with the Jamaat’s zonal team; a function for JAC which was addressed by the National President at  members meet with him.

The JAC function included several interesting sessions. A tug of war competition was organized for different teams; a skit was presented by the JAC of Abul Fazl; and an open session was held with the President.

In the members meet the students were addressed by the zonal team as well as the national president. It also included an open session for the cadres to ask questions, give suggestions, and express their observations regarding the organisation.

The national president while addressing the cadres said that the “destiny of the nation is decided in the schools, colleges and universities”. He said that these institutions act as a power house for the country as well as the world. He argued that in today’s world even the concept of “One Man One Army” is possible where even one man can change the whole society towards a good end. He added that Just Supplicating for our dreams is not enough, but apart from supplications we should remain actively involved in social issues to make the dreams come true.

A large number of members, students and Junior Associate attended the programmes and decided to continue to work for the reconstruction of the society with renewed zeal and enthusiasm….
